Step 1: As a first step blowdry your hair.

Step 2: Then part your hair. And on right side make a deep side part and then where the lower braids will be make a part along the back of your head and then clip the rest of the hair out of the way.

Step 3: Now braid along the lower hairline. Start just behind the ear and do a Dutch braid. Into 3 split the hair and then bring the right under the middle and then the left under the right. Then add in hair to the next part as you bring it just under the middle and then keep repeating these steps. Remember you only need to braid 3/4 across the neck.

Step 4: With an elastic secure the first braid. To hold the end of your braid in place use a small clear elastic and then to hold your braid if it isn’t sitting flat use bobby pins.

Step 5: Now just do a 2nd Dutch braid just over the first. Then let the clip down and then with the top of your right ear start the 2nd Dutch braid level. For the first braid follow the steps but only braid to the middle of the head. But make sure that for the left side you leave enough hair out.

Step 6: With an hair elastic secure the 2nd braid. Then just stop adding in hair once you have braided to the middle of your head and then do a couple of steps of a regular braid. Now with a small clear elastic secure the end of the braid.

Step 7: Now just stretch your braid out. at the sides of your braids pull gently to widen them.

Step 8: Then just pin the braids in place. Lift up the left side of the hair and then underneath pin the ends of your braids in place. To help it to sit flat at the back of the head you can also use some pins along the braid.

Step 9: And then sweep the hair to the side. Over the ends of the braids sweep the hair and then over your shoulder.
