Wrapped French Fishtail Braid
Step 1; First section off the hair and part down at an angle on the right side down to the left of the center of the back of your head. Then with a clip or an elastic secure that out of the way. Part the hair again on the other side, going down from where the first part that started and ending that behind the left ear. Now out of the way secure that hair. At this point you will end up with a little bit more hair that sectioned off on the right side and one than you have on the left side.
Step 2; From the top pick up a part of the hair. Then split that hair into 2 equal sized parts. Now from the outer edge of the left side take a small part of the hair and then bring it over and join it to the inner edge of the right part. Then from the outer edge of the right side take a small part of the hair and then bring it over and join it to the inner edge of the left side.
Step 3; From the outer edge on the left side again take a small part and then to join the inner edge of the right side cross it over. Now start adding hair in as you go from under the left side of the braid and pick up a small part of the hair. Then cross that over the left side of the braid and then join it to the inner edge of the right side.
Step 4; Then on the other side repeat this, take a small part and then cross it over to the inner edge of the left. And then just go under that and now pick up a new part of the hair. Now cross that part over the right side of the braid and then at the inner edge of the left part just join it.
Step 5; Then all the way down just repeat steps 3 & 4 and be sure that you do pulling the braid at the angle that you want so that way it will end up off to the side of the back of the neck. As you do the style, you can braid very small parts of the hair. This will give you even more intricate look. But remember it does take longer to do. If you use larger pieces of hair then be careful that you do not take too large of pieces of hair in.
Step 6; Soon as you run out of hair to add into the braid then keep on continue braiding out couple of stitches of a fishtail braid and then you can just secure the hair with an hair elastic.
Step 7; Now let down the part of hair on the right side. Then with a brush or your fingers smooth it out. If you want you can use spray wax or some hairspray to give even more smooth finish. Then twist the hair in toward the braid. Then you can secure the hair with an hair elastic. Then cross that hair over the braid and then wrap the end down under and then with an hair elastic just secure the hair together. If you want you casn use couple of bobby pin or two under the bottom to get that part of the hair to lay nicely.
Step 8; Then take the left part of the hair. Now twist that part in toward the braid and then wrap it over and then under the ponytail. Now hold it in place and now with another hair elastic secure it to the ponytail.
Step 9; As a final step with your fingers softly brush the hair as you needed to cover any visible part lines and then you can just finish the hairstyle with your favorite hairspray.
